Meet Your Clinicians
Huong (Kimmie) Iodice, Founder & Clinician

My name is Huong Iodice, though many colleagues, students, and patients know me as Kimmie. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, FPA, APN) licensed for full practice authority in Chicago, Illinois. I earned my PMHNP degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my BSN from Azusa Pacific University. These two nationally recognized institutions have shaped my dedication to compassionate, evidence-based care and lifelong learning in nursing and psychiatry. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of mentoring numerous DNP, PMHNP, and PA students, including those from Rush University, where I also serve as a clinical preceptor. It is an honor to support the growth and development of future healthcare clinicians.
As the founder of YOU Psychiatry Clinic, I want to share the inspiration behind our clinic’s name. My approach to care is grounded in a deep belief that healing begins by treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I established this clinic with the mission to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique journey. Nothing brings me greater fulfillment than witnessing the progress and transformation of my patients as they reach their treatment goals. I am committed to partnering with you, not just as a clinician but as a collaborator to help you become the best version of yourself.
I have also been privileged to work within two large behavioral healthcare systems in Chicagoland, treating patients with complex, chronic medical and psychiatric conditions. This diverse experience has deepened my commitment to ongoing learning and growth. I regularly attend leading educational conferences, including those hosted by Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. My dedication to humanity, neuroscience, and psychopharmacology compels me to continually engage with emerging research, enabling me to provide care grounded in the most current scientific evidence.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish time with family and friends while enjoying creative pursuits such as exploring the vibrant music, art, and cultural scenes in Chicago and Los Angeles.
Now that you know a little about me, I look forward to hearing your story. Together, we will develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and navigate this journey, one step at a time. My team and I are here to support, guide, and empower you to achieve lasting wellness and reach your full potential.
